Calling all businesses in our rural areas to have your say at our FREE Industrial Strategies Stakeholder Meeting
A Local Industrial Strategy is being developed by Cheshire and Warrington LEP. The aim is to build up a robust evidence base which demonstrates the distinctive strengths of our area, and which highlights potential issues that may hinder the areas growth aspirations.
Local Industrial Strategies are central to delivering the National Industrial Strategy’s vision to build an economy fit for the future, with prosperous communities across the United Kingdom, and to drive up productivity.
Fundamental to this process is engaging with businesses and other stakeholders to test the evidence, initial insights and conclusions. The aim of this event is to ensure that a rural dimension is properly considered in the development of the Local Industrial Strategy.
The meeting includes a presentation from Metro Dynamics, consultants appointed by the LEP to develop the Local Industrial Strategy evidence base, and an interactive session giving you the opportunity to discuss what you have heard and give your views on what that means for the local economy.
Registration and refreshments from 9.30am with a prompt start at 10.00am. Lunch will be provided which is a great opportunity to network and make new contacts.
