Making Tax digital (MTD) starts in April 2019 and will affect businesses who are VAT registered with turnover over £85k. The way you keep your business accounts may need to change, as paper records will no longer be sufficient. We are running a series of Seminars to update you on the requirements.
Partner, Martin Webb, will be hosting the event and explaining why the government is implementing this new system of reporting tax. He will bring you up to speed with the MTD legislation and what it means for your business; and how Howard Worth can support you as your accountant. Nathan Johnson, Business Growth Enabler, will be delivering a presentation around the NatWest Boost Programme and how it can aid businesses.
You may need to review your existing book keeping requirements and consider a different package of software to meet the requirements of MTD. Two software packages that could help with your MTD compliance are Xero and FreeAgent. A representative from each company will be attending the seminar and will be able to offer more information and a demonstration of what their products are able to offer.
